New plan...

My newest plan. Well it isn’t a plan yet, I need to talk to the hubs about it first. But I am indeed going to really try to convince him to allow me to do this.

It is expensive but overall it is probably what we spend in food monthly with all of the going out to dinner we do. We are BAD!

Thankfully the weather is getting nicer around here too so going for walks will be easier. I really need to get back to the working out stuff too. Anyways, I would love any feedback about this plan.

FAIL

LOL Yup FAIL!!

Needless to say, I am not on track. Right now we are working hard to get Jude's playroom done and our house back to normal since Jeremy's folks are coming to stay with us in 2 weeks. WE have a HUGE timeline and a TON of cleaning and organzing to do before then.

I swear...once that is done and they head back to Arizona, I will be on the exercise bike at least 4 times a week!!

Also, I want to start reading every day too. So many goals, so little time. This whole mommy hood thing is hard! lol

Weight Update:
Same – down 1 pound! Not exactly what I was thinking I would be at. I honestly thought I would be gaining weight because of my Applebee's lunch! Not bad!! Now, lets get to 2 pounds dropped! Come on!!!!!!!!!!!

Only thinking positive! I WILL DO THIS!!!

Day 3

Date: 2/10/2011

My Thoughts For The Day:
Day 3 went well. Well except for the indulgence of Applebee’s for lunch. It is okay, you have to live too! Over it now. I was really hoping for a 3 pound weight loss this week. I am coming to the realization that probably will not be happening. I need to not only stick with my diet BUT I also need to have a work out plan. Working out is the BIGGEST issue with me. It is hard for me to think about working out during my Jude time! I need to get over that. Maybe my goal for working out can be just working out for a couple times a week for 30 minutes that might help me not feel so sad and guilty. Something to work on and think about for sure.

Food Log:
Breakfast –
Slim Fast drink

Snacks –
50 calorie fruit strip
100 calorie granola bar

Lunch –
CHEATER!!! LOL Blew it!
Applebee’s Lunch – appetizer = cheese sticks, lunch = half ceaser salad and half a Mexi wrap , dessert = yummy cookie and ice cream! Told you – blew it!! LOL Oh well.

Snacks –

Dinner –
Raisin Bran cereal with skim milk

Snacks –
20 Junior Mints

Weight Update:
Same – down 1 pound! Oy! I really wanted to be down 3 this week. Not looking so great. Not sure if I will be able to get in a work out tonight either. We will see.

Thoughts On Goal: Again, it is a lofty goal but something I want to reach! Trying to stay positive!!

Blew it!

Well today is a bust!
I went to lunch with the hubby to support Tennyson Center for Children at Applebee’s. We had an appetizer, lunch and dessert! Yup – AND dessert! Who does that? oh me!
Damn it!
Moving on…

Day 2

Date: 2/9/2011

My Thoughts For The Day: Today was a good day, busy at work so that helped me keep the hungry pains away. The hungry feeling makes it so hard but it shows me just how much I used to over feed my body! My stomach must be huge now! LOL Gross!
My other thought that I keep thinking about is those numbers I saw on the scale the other day. It really does make me sad, disappointment, sick and grossed out. How did I do this to myself? I was on a roll after Jude – I lost weight during pregnancy and then kept losing weight after he arrived but then I headed back to work and something changed. Our life got harder and the days seems shorter. Well I don’t want that as an excuse anymore! I will be better for myself and for my family. It has to be done.

Food Log:
Breakfast –
1 bowl of special K strawberries with skim milk
20 oz of Crystal Light
Diet Coke

Snacks –
2 pieces of cheddar cheese

Lunch –
Salad with shredded cheese/fat free French dressing
50 calorie fruit strip
100 calorie crackers
100 calorie yogurt
100 calorie granola bar
Diet Coke

Snacks –
Slim fast drink
Applesauce

Dinner –
1 bowl of Special K/Skim Milk

Snacks –
20 Junior mints

Weight Update: Down 1 pound!!!!!!! :O) Progress! Let’s keep it up!!

Thoughts On Goal: 50 pounds by July is a lot but I really want to do it. Jude’s birthday is on June 25th – would love to be at my goal by then and be one proud mommy of a 1 year old! I am determined to keep it up!!

Day 1 - the beginning

Day 1 –
Seems a little daunting. I am trying to keep motivation up and my outlook positive. Trying! Really trying. I am hoping that writing everything down and having some accountability from my online friends and family will help. Lord knows I need it!! So here we go.

Yesterday went well. I am pleased with what I did and I hope I can keep it up! I was very hungry by 4pm so I will need to think about having more veggies and fruits to munch on at work (adding that to my grocery list for this weekend!).

So here is my food log for Day 1:

Breakfast -
Raisin Bran/Skim Milk
20 oz of Crystal Light
Can of Diet Coke

Snack –
2 pieces of cheddar cheese

Lunch –
Can of diet Coke
Bowl of Romaine Lettuce with some cheddar cheese sprinkles
Fat Free French Dressing
100 calorie yogurt
100 calorie granola bar
50 calorie all natural fruit strip

Snack –
Applesauce

Dinner –
2 bowls of special K strawberry cereal/Skim milk

(I LOVE CEREAL!!!!!!!!!!!)

Snack –
5 Red Vines – I know, not great but it is better than 5 snicker bars! LOL


Weight loss/Weight gain: 1st weigh in…65 pounds to lose!

Goal is to lose 50 by July 2011!!

Introduction to ME!

It is time – time to get my butt in gear.
I did GREAT with weight loss and maintenance while pregnant – well I am not pregnant anymore and I have since gained 30 pounds! My son will be 1 year old in June 2011. It is my goal to get in gear and be down at least 50 pounds by that time. Yes, I am aware of the HUGE amount of pounds that is in about 140 days – BUT I am determined.

I will use this blog as my journal for what I stuff in my mouth, what activity I do, how I am feeling and the goals I have reached or not reached.

So here we go!!
